Subject: Handbook of Language and the Global South Calls
Students, PhD candidates, professors, educators, policy makers: We are still
looking for a few more contributions to our handbook edited by Dr. Sinfree
Makoni (Penn State University), Dr. Anna Kaiper (Penn State University) and
Dr. Lorato Mokwena (University of Western Cape, SA) entitled The Handbook of
Language and The Global South that will be published by Routledge. We are
currently looking for contributors from around the world with differing
backgrounds and understandings of the “Global South” and “Southern Theories”
that will write a chapter for the handbook.The following themes for the
handbook are as follows but email Dr. Kaiper (axk1222 at psu.edu) if you would
like more details.
Theme: Histories, Philosophies, and Politics of the Global South
Theme: Towards Multiple Language Ontologies and Southern Multilingualisms
Theme: Southern as Critical Theories
