Call for Book Chapter Proposals: Analysing Health Discourse in Digital
Environments

I am pleased to serve as guest editor for the collection entitled ''Analysing
Health Discourse in Digital Environments'' for Cambridge Scholars Publishing
and would like to invite you to consider submitting one or more chapters.

Abstract:
This collection seeks to keep pace of the changing nature of health discourse
in different digital environments. It intends to offer sustained discourse
analyses of a number of interactions generated through the affordances and
constraints of these new social contexts, which are affecting health
communication in subtle and profound ways.

Keywords:
digital health discourse (DHD); controversies, risks, equity as DHD; health
promotion; social mediators, knowledge and power; scientific and popularized
DHD representations; semiotic remediation; gamification; digital sickscapes
and cultural representations of disease; interdisciplinary, analytical and
pedagogical approaches to DHD.
