Funded PhD Position in Language and Communication

Professor Crispin Thurlow is looking to select a graduate student (with an MA
or equivalent degree) interested in pursuing a PhD in Language and
Communication under his supervision. You should be committed to undertaking
research in at least one of his current research areas: language and class,
language work, digital discourse, or language and sexuality. For more

interdisciplinarity and multimodality is preferred orienting to critical
discourse analysis,, social semiotics and/or critical sociolinguistics.

Salary range CHF 47,500 to 51,000 per annum
(€ 45,000 to 48,000 / US$ 49,000 to 53,000)

Position starts January 2021 (or earlier if possible)
