Subject: Editorial change John Benjamins journal SIC

 
John Benjamins is pleased to announce that as of Volume 17, Issue 3 (2020),
Francisco Moreno-Fernández (Universidad de Alcalá & University of Heidelberg)
will become Executive Editor of the journal Spanish in Context. Kim Potowski
(University of Illinois at Chicago) will take on the role as Co-editor. In
addition Héctor Álvarez-Mella (University of Heidelberg) will join the board
as Editorial Assistant.

Spanish in Context publishes original theoretical, empirical and
methodological studies into pragmatics and sociopragmatics, variationist and
interactional sociolinguistics, sociology of language, discourse and
conversation analysis, functional contextual analyses, bilingualism, and
crosscultural and intercultural communication with the aim of extending our
knowledge of Spanish and of these disciplines themselves.

Spanish in Context publishes its articles Online First.
