Anglica. An International Journal of English Studies is a peer-reviewed annual
print and electronic journal under the auspices of the Institute of English
Studies, University of Warsaw. The journal is indexed in SCOPUS, DOAJ, CEEOL,
CEJSH, BazHum, EBSCO, Index Copernicus, ERIHPLUS, and the Norwegian Register
for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers.

We welcome contributions in various aspects of the synchrony and diachrony of
English or/and its varieties, sociolinguistics, language contact, translation
studies as well as articles comparing and contrasting English with other
languages. The papers may represent various approaches to language studies. We
also accept reviews of recently published academic studies (monographs and
edited volumes).
The deadline for complete articles is 31 January 2021. The issue will be
published September 2021
