Subject: Objects of 'between' across languages

Dear all,

This is a query about how languages express ‘between’ with two explicit
objects. English has a conjunction between those objects (‘between A and B’),
but Hebrew has alternative ways of doing this. I know it from Biblical Hebrew,
where there are two main constructions: ‘bên A u-bên B’ (between A and-between
B) and ‘bên A l@ B’ (between A to B), and similar constructions exist in
modern Hebrew. I would like to know whether there are there more languages
that, like Hebrew, have something else than a simple (‘collectivizing’)
conjunction between the two objects of their ‘between’ counterpart. Any
suggestions or pointers would be appreciated. I’ll try to post a summary.

Best wishes,
