BIOLINGUISTICS is a peer-reviewed journal exploring theoretical linguistics
that takes the biological foundations of human language seriously. All our
content is open access: Anyone can read everything published for free, without
the need to subscribe, and there are no article processing charges (APCs) or
submission fees. 

In addition to our regular 2020 issue (volume 14), we also featured a special
issue on "Biolinguistic Research in the 21st Century" edited by our Associate
Editor Evelina Leivada (Universitat Rovira i Virgili) and guest-editor Lluís
Barceló Coblijn (Universitat de les Illes Balears). Details and the original
