Job Description:
Full time postdoctoral fellow / research scientist position working with PI:
Sunny Tang, M.D. Ongoing projects use natural language processing / human
language technology and machine learning / computational methods to
characterize speech biomarkers and other clinically relevant features in
psychiatric disorders. Structural and functional neuroimaging & cognitive
correlates also examined. Hybrid option with regular remote work is possible.
We value diversity in our team – all applicants, including international, are
welcomed to apply. Salary 60-70k based on experience and background.
Job Responsibility:
- Lead projects using machine learning and natural language processing to
understand psychiatric conditions.
- Assist in project design.
- Assist in data analysis for related projects.
Job Qualifications:
- Analytical background required including familiarity with either Python or
R.
Prefer additional expertise with one or more of the following:
- Natural language processing
- Acoustic analysis
- Machine learning
- Graph analysis
- Neuroimaging
- Psycholinguistics
