Description:
The University of Mannheim, School of Humanities, Department of English,
invites applications for a W 3-Professorship in Psycholinguistics to be filled
by January 2022. This is a full-time open-ended appointment at the rank of
professor.
The successful candidate will be a psycholinguist with a research focus on
language acquisition and/or bilingualism and will be teaching in the area of
English Linguistics. Applicants must have strong track record of publications
in high quality journals, demonstrating an outstanding research reputation and
profile as well as a demonstrable sustained track record of attracting
substantial research funding as a leading independent researcher.
Teaching will be in English and will contribute to our interdisciplinary
degree programs at all levels (BA / MA and PhD level).
The hiring procedure is subject to the requirements set out in §§ 47-48 of the
LHG Baden-Wuerttemberg. The University of Mannheim is an equal-opportunities
