Meeting Description:
PROSODY OF SPOKEN AND SIGN LANGUAGES AND ITS INTERFACES
The II Brazilian Conference on Prosody will be an online event held over two
weeks that will involve workshops, oral presentations of research papers and
conferences, covering several areas of Prosody and its interfaces in spoken
and signed languages. These areas include oral and signed communication,
language multimodality, communication technologies, production and perception
of sounds and signals, acoustics, language teaching, atypia and pathologies,
voice, singing and other related areas.
Call for Papers:
We invite researchers to submit papers in the areas listed below by December
7, 2021. Both completed and ongoing research papers will be accepted. Among
the works in progress, some will be selected for a special discussion session
with experienced prosodists on the subject.
The manuscript must have between 2500 and 3500 words, with references, in PDF
format. It must be formatted according to the template
(https://tiny.ee/Prosodia2022) and follow the guidelines available on the
website https://www.even3.com.br/iicbp2022/. Papers submitted in LIBRAS must
follow the rules of the Revista Brasileira de Vídeo-Registro em Libras.
