Description:

Lingo Legend is an upcoming mobile game for language learners designed to
maximize your engagement while you practice. To do this, we've integrated high
quality language content into a real video game so that you will look forward
to practicing even when the learning journey gets tough.

We are looking for a Japanese Language Content Creator to aid in the
development of the Japanese language flashcards. In this role, you will work
with our team to design language flashcards ideal for beginner language
learners to familiarize themselves with vocabulary and phrases as well as
introductory grammatical concepts.

You will:
 - Evaluate the existing flashcards for the Japanese language, assess the
effectiveness, quality, and order of concepts with the intent of optimizing
for learner understanding, retention, and engagement
 - Create new language flashcard content using grammatical concepts, and
themes relevant to Japanese language learners
 - Ensure quality translations for all flashcards both existing and newly
developed
 - Create short descriptions that will aid the learner in understanding the
concept being introduced with each grouping of flashcards

You have:
 - Master’s degree or PhD in second language acquisition or specifically in
Japanese language studies
 - Previous experience teaching Japanese to beginners
 - Creativity to apply your experience to a unique learning situation
 - Able to work effectively independently
