Abstract:

This volume contains 22 papers presented at the 2020 West Coast Conference on
Formal Linguistics. The usually annual WCCFL conference did not take place in
2019, and the conference was then expanded in 2020. The resulting two volumes
of proceedings, WCCFL 37 and WCCFL 38, cover two years of research presented
at the 2020 conference held at the University of British Columbia from March
6-8, 2020. This volume features two plenary talks, five talks from the special
session on Western American Indigenous Languages, and 16 poster presentations.
