Focus: The main focus of vTEM is in applied knowledge about experimental methodologies to study voice, speech, language and behaviour, following a hands-on approach.

Description:
This is the first edition of vTEM (Virtual Training in Experimental Methods),
an online training program in current methods in experimental linguistics,
phonetics and psycholinguistics, organized by the Phonetics and Phonology
Laboratory and Lisbon Baby Lab.
vTEM is directed at undergraduate and graduate students, researchers
interested in voice, speech, language and language related areas (including
language development and language impairments), as well as professionals
(educators, teachers, psychologists, audiologists, speech therapists, among
others).
vTEM takes a hands-on training approach and covers the following
topics/methods:
- Praat and acoustic analysis
- ELAN and audiovisual annotation
- Tools for the study of perception

Per course: € 50
Full-registration: € 300
Accreditation/evaluation (optional): adds €20/course or €100/all courses
