Meeting Description:

Every spring, the Linguistics Graduate Student Association at UNC-Chapel Hill
puts on its annual Spring Colloquium. We invite fellow linguists from all over
to present and discuss current topics of interest in the field in an all-day
conference. The Colloquium is free for all who present or attend; there is no
registration fee. The 2021 UNC Linguistics Spring Colloquium will be held
Saturday, March 20, 2021 with two keynote speakers:

Dr. Natalie Schilling, Georgetown University

Dr. Kate Lindsey, Boston University


Second Call for Papers:

The Linguistics Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
is now accepting abstracts for its 2021 Virtual Spring Colloquium. The
conference will be held Saturday, March 20 via Zoom with Dr. Natalie Schilling
(Georgetown University), and Dr. Kate Lindsey (Boston University), as keynote
speakers. The Colloquium is free for all who present or attend; there is no
registration fee.

Papers and posters are invited on any topic in all areas of Linguistics. Paper
presentations will be 20 minutes long (in English) followed by a 10-minute
discussion period. It will again feature a poster session during the coffee
hour. 

Abstracts should be no longer than one page in 12-point font with an optional
second page for examples, figures, tables, and/or references.

Please do not include any author information in your abstract. Abstracts
containing identifying information will not be considered.
