Description:

Transcription of Endangered Language. Job opening.

Task involves identifying an endangered language and transcribing it in a new,
phonemic alphabet (script). Can be an endangered language from any part of the
world, per the candidate’s choice. Basic transcription only (e.g. vowels,
non-vowels, a few basic words, and a few exemplary sentences). The phonemic
alphabet to be used is Navlipi (https://navlipi.org/). To lead to a
publication in an appropriate journal. 

Compensation offered is either hourly (US$50/hour) or Task-wise, for full
completion of Task (estimated US$3,000 to US$7,500).
