School of Humanities and Liberal Arts, Language and Cognition Sciences
Research Institute, and Multi-Modal Discourse Research Center at
Georgian-American University invite proposals for the 5th International
Student Conference / Webinar on STRUCTURE / FUNCTION INTERFACE, which will be
held on May 15-16, 2021.
Structure / function or form / meaning dichotomy has been the issue of
discussion in linguistics, social sciences and information technologies for
several decades. The structures and forms that reflect different meanings, as
well as the meanings expressed through varying structures have been in the
center of explorations and debates for a long time.
Final Call for Papers:
Young researchers and students interested in phonology, morphology, syntax,
semantics, pragmatics, computational linguistics, cognitive linguistics,
social sciences, cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence can submit
abstracts for papers. 250-word abstracts in the fields of linguistics,
literature, social sciences, cognitive sciences and information technologies
should be sent by May 10, 2021.
