Description:

Position Purpose:
Handles the development and administration of French and English second
language testing programs at the Official Languages and Bilingualism
Institute, ensuring that the University maintains its strong national
reputation in language testing and supporting the University’s promotion of
bilingualism.

Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in psychometrics, educational measurement, applied
linguistics (language testing) or closely related field
- Three years’ experience in test development and delivery, and language tests
analysis and interpretation
- Administrative or project management experience
- Experience in university-level second language teaching
- Knowledge of item analysis and data analysis programs (e.g., Iteman, SPSS)
- Knowledge of research design
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent report-writing skills
- Bilingualism — English/French (excellent spoken and written skills)
