Description:

The Department of Linguistics in the Dana and David Dornsife College of
Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (USC) in
Los Angeles, California invites applications for a postdoctoral position with
a three-course teaching load for academic year 2021–2022, which begins in the
third week of August. We seek applicants with specialization in syntactic
theory. The salary for this position is $65,000.

The duties associated with this position include teaching introductory
syntactic theory at the undergraduate and graduate levels, teaching a graduate
seminar focused on a research area within syntactic theory to be determined,
mentoring graduate students, and participating in the academic life of the
department.

The successful candidate will have a strong research profile, and prior
teaching experience. A Ph.D. is required by time of appointment.
