Description:

We invite applications to the Program in Psychological and Cognitive Science
at the University of Genoa, Italy. This is a 3-year PhD program with a
teaching component in the first year. Of interest to this mailing list, we
seek candidates eager to learn and combine experimental and computational
methods to the study of language acquisition, processing, and evolution (APV).

We are particularly interested in developing one of these themes:
- Implicit statistical learning of language
- Role of social network in language acquisition
- Predictive and retrodictive models of language processing
- Gene-environment interactions in language acquisition

Candidates can apply in English, and the entire program can be done in
English. PhD scholarships covering fees and living expenses are available to
national and international students alike.

Deadline for application for the current admission cycle is June 15, 2021 at
12 PM, CET. Applications can be done online through the University portal at
the application link provided below.
