The George Mason University, English Department, Linguistics Program invites
applications for English: Linguistics Adjunct Faculty for part-time vacancies
to teach specific undergraduate and graduate linguistics courses.
George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the

Responsibilities:
One-semester appointment beginning Spring 2022 to teach one to three sections.
We are looking for faculty who can teach any of the following: LING 485
Semantics and Pragmatics, LING 522 English Grammar and Pedagogy, LING 582
Second Language Acquisition, and LING 688 Semantics and Pragmatics. Basic

Required Qualifications:
- PhD in linguistics (or appropriate field) in-hand; and
- College-level teaching experience.
