The Department of Linguistics at the University of Georgia invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2022.
We seek a candidate whose research focuses on the use of experimental methods
and/or computational models to understand how language is acquired, processed,
and perceived. Emphasis on bi-/multilingualism preferred. Teaching duties will
include courses in language acquisition and psycholinguistics at the
undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as advanced undergraduate or
graduate courses on more specialized topics relating to the individual’s
research interests. The teaching load is four courses per year.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Linguistics or in a related discipline in hand
at the time of appointment.
The Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, its many units, and the University
