Description:

The National University of Singapore will hire a Research Fellow (post-doc)
with specialization in experimental syntax and/or psycholinguistics under the
project “Closest Agreement and Memory” (PI Zheng Shen). The position is for
two years, ideally beginning early to mid-2022.

With the PI, the Research Fellow will investigate agreement phenomena that
show sensitivity to linear order, e.g. closest conjunct agreement, and their
interaction with memory mechanisms. The Research Fellow also has freedom to
pursue their own projects within this theme.

Ideal candidates will bring familiarity with the literature on memory-related
psycholinguistic studies and/or have published on related topics. Previous
experience with memory-related psycholinguistics experiments is a plus. There
is no teaching obligation.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Funds exist
for travel to international conferences. The Research Fellow must have their
PhD in hand by the start of the position.
