Description:
The Department of Linguistics and Philosophy at MIT invites applications for a
one-year postdoctoral associate position in Computational Linguistics,
extendable by mutual agreement to a second year, effective July 2022. We
especially encourage applications from candidates who see their research as
relevant to central questions of linguistic theory, addressed from a
computational perspective, broadly construed. The successful applicant will be
expected to interact with the students and faculty of MIT Linguistics and to
participate actively in the intellectual life of the department, and will
teach one graduate or undergraduate course each semester, on topics to be
arranged.
Review of applications will begin December 13, 2021.
