The Aston Institute for Forensic Linguistics is well-established as
world-leading in the teaching and research of forensic linguistics and
language of the law. The mission of the Aston Institute for Forensic
Linguistics is to improve the delivery of justice through the analysis of
language.
The advertised post is for the Director of the new Distance Masters programme
in Forensic Linguistics and the successful candidate will have the CV and
capabilities to launch, manage, and (with others) teach on the new programme
starting in the autumn of 2022. You will work closely with the Director of
the on-campus programme in Forensic Linguistics to ensure highest quality
teaching in this area.
You will also further expand our research in forensic linguistics through
contribution to the activities of the Aston Institute for Forensic Linguistics
(AIFL) and you will have a strong record of research publications, impact and
grant bidding to further our research in forensic linguistics and language and
law.
