Meeting Description:
The 52nd Linguistic Symposium on Romance Languages (LSRL 52) will be hosted by
the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It will take from April 21-23, 2022 in
either a hybrid or completely virtual format depending on COVID-19-related
travel restrictions and mandates. The keynote addresses will be given by
Marlyse Baptista (University of Michigan), Margaret Renwick (University of
Georgia) and Liliana Sánchez (University of Illinois-Chicago).
Call for Papers:
We invite abstract submissions to LSRL 52 for consideration as 20-minute talks
(plus 10 minutes for discussion) or poster presentations on any aspect of
Romance Linguistics.
Abstract Specifications:
Anonymized pdfs written in English
No more than 2 pages in length (including examples and references) – examples
and figures should be integrated into
the text
12-point font with 1-inch margins (US letter size paper)
Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract, or two joint
abstracts, per author.
We are planning on holding LSRL 52 as a hybrid conference that may switch to
completely virtual depending on COVID-19-related mandates and travel
restrictions. Please specify when submitting your abstract if you plan to
present in person or virtually.
Submission Deadline: December 31, 2021
Notification of Acceptance: January 31, 2022
