Meeting Description:
This conference aims at bringing together scholars working on converbs and
related categories from different theoretical and methodological angles.
Topics may include but are not restricted to the following:
- Converb as a metalinguistic concept through history and in different
traditions
- The synchronic properties of converbs in typological perspective
- Converbs and related constructions as areal features
- Converbs in the context of linguistic families
- Converbial constructions and competing construction types
- The diachronic typology of converbs and their source constructions.

Final Call for Papers:
We invite abstracts for 20 minute talks, which are followed by 10 minute
discussions. They should clearly state the research questions, approach,
method, data and (expected) results. They must be anonymized and should not
exceed 500 words (including examples, excluding references).
All abstracts will be subject to a double-blind peer review.
