Description:

We are currently recruiting two full-time tenure-track faculty positions in
English language and linguistics. 

Prospective candidates must have: 
 - a PhD in English linguistics or a related field; 
 - at least 3 years' experience as a post-doc or at least three years'
experience as an assistant professor; 
 - a strong research record and an excellent potential for future research. 

The Department of Modern Languages currently includes staff carrying out
research in cognitive linguistics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and the
history of the English language. Successful candidates will be promoted to the
tenured position of Associate Professor after three years conditional on their
obtaining Italy’s “National Scientific Qualification” by the end of their
third year of service.
