Description:

Leiden University is looking for an assistant professor to conduct research
and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in French linguistics in Leiden.

The lecturer will hold a position within the Leiden University Centre for
Linguistics and teach courses as needed in BA- and MA-programmes in Leiden
(BA/MA French, BA Linguistics) and The Hague (Leiden University College, BA
International Studies). Applications are invited from specialists of French
linguistics, with preference given to theoretical linguists who work on topics
related to French-based Creoles, varieties of French outside of France, or
second language acquisition.

Please submit your application online no later than 28 February 2022 via the

 - A CV including education and employment history, publications, and courses
taught; 
A letter of motivation outlining a research agenda in a field related to
French linguistics (max 2 pages); 
 - Two sample course descriptions;
 - Names, positions, and email addresses of three referees (no reference
letters at this point).
