Meeting Description:

Linguistic Landscape has focused scientific attention after several years of
research, mainly by linguistics scholars. However, there hadn't been any event
devoted specifically to this field of knowledge in the Spanish-speaking world.
In this sense, ICIPL Conference is a ground-breaking event planned to be
periodical, with biannual conferences in different venues, with Universidad
Pablo de Olavide as the starting one.

Thus, attending ICIPL Conference at Universidad Pablo de Olavide is an
opportunity to explore some of the most recent contributions in linguistic
landscape studies. Also, ICIPL Conference is meant to focus on methodological
concerns of this area of expertise.


Call for Papers:

We accept proposals on linguistic landscape studies that belong to one of
these thematic panels:

- Multidisciplinary visions of landscape: geography, art, history, economics,
etc.
- Multilingual linguistic landscape.
- Monolingual linguistic landscape.
- Linguistic landscape and varieties of Spanish.
- Historical approach of linguistic landscape.
- Studies on discursive, lexical, morphological, grammatical, syntactic, etc.
aspects of linguistic landscape.
- Didactic applications of linguistic landscape.
