The Department of Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of Technical and Human
Sciences Târgu Mureș of the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania and
the DAMERG Research Center is organizing the online international academic
conference Trans-linguistica VI: Shaping Humanities: Innovation, Tradition,
and Value Creation, from May 19 to 20, 2022.
Call for Papers:
Topics:
Research perspectives in humanities
Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches
Digital humanities versus traditional humanities
Linguistic variation, linguistic diversity in the European culture
Translation theory and translation practice
Language and culture, intercultural perspectives
Teaching foreign languages and teaching the mother tongue - investigating good
practices
We expect submissions in Hungarian, Romanian, English and German.
Participants can propose a presentation (duration: 20 minutes), a case study
or a roundtable.
Participation at the conference is free of charge.
Applications are invited until March 31, 2022, together with a 150-300-word
abstract of the presentations/roundtables in English.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by April 15.
