Subject: Call for Participants – take part in PhD research
A PhD researcher in Linguistics at the University of Huddersfield (UK) is
looking for volunteer participants volunteering to take part in her study. The
study investigates the strategies used by native English/Spanish and Italian
speakers and trilingual (English/Spanish and Italian) speakers in performing
disagreement.
The researcher is looking for two different sets of participants to do the
following:
1. Complete a questionnaire (10 minutes for native speakers, 15-20 minutes for
trilingual speakers)
2. Take part in a role-play with another participant (15-20 minutes)
To be eligible for the study, you must be
- over 18
And
- a native English speaker.
Or
- a native Spanish speaker
Or
- a native Italian speaker
Or
- a trilingual speaker (English/Spanish and Italian languages), a native of
one of these three languages
