Meeting Description:
The Speech, Language and Learning Intervention Research Symposium is planned
and hosted by a team of speech and hearing science doctoral students and
faculty mentors at Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions.
We are focused on the development of interventions for children with speech,
language and learning disorders who come from culturally and linguistically
diverse backgrounds, addressing issues of equity, inclusion and access. This
conference has been specifically designed in accordance with the philosophy
that the development of effective interventions is dependent upon
collaborative efforts from all stakeholders — practitioners, educators and
community members, along with researchers.
