Dubbing is an important and increasingly widely used method for making
entertainment content in one language accessible to international audiences.
With the growth of global streaming video services, more content is being
dubbed into more languages, with demand starting to outstrip supply.

This short course, delivered over three weeks, will train you in dialogue
adaptation, i.e. the production of an authentic target language dialogue
script for use by voice actors and dubbing directors during the production of
dubbed film versions. The aim of the course is to enhance the quality of
dubbing through learning specific techniques of script analysis and practising
adaptation skills.

Note that this course focuses on dubbing from English into other languages.
The course is suitable for participants from all language backgrounds.
