Description:

The University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia is launching a new PhD
program in Theoretical and Experimental Linguistics (TEL).

TEL aims at training scholars in the field of linguistics, considering both
theoretical and experimental approaches. In particular, the program focuses on
studies in the areas of theoretical syntax, experimental pragmatics, and
computational linguistics, taking into account both formal descriptions and
psycho/neurolinguistic investigations. 

A call for *3 three-year fully funded PhD positions* is now available on the
PhD website

 - Processing and complexity
 - Language disorders
 - Language acquisition
 - Experimental pragmatics
 - Neuropragmatics
 - Clinical pragmatics
 - Developmental pragmatics
*** Of the 3 positions, one is linked to the following topic “Research on
metaphors from the Italian literature via an open-access online database and
psycho/neurolinguistic investigations” and will be funded by the action on
cultural heritage of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). ***
