Meeting Description:
Please join the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University for
the second annual Speech, Language and Learning Intervention Research
Symposium (SLLIVRS), held fully online March 25 - 26, 2022.
This year’s theme is Breaking the Intervention Mold: Diversifying Paths to
Educational Success with a focus on advancing interventions and exploring
creative solutions to improve the quality of education for children with
disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Topics:
The conference is organized into three tracks with the goal of maximum
collaboration between presenters and participants on ways to bridge gaps
between research and practice in these areas:
* Spotlight on literacy: New approaches to literacy instruction for diverse
groups with an emphasis on reading and writing.
* Evolution through collaboration: Collaborative approaches to providing
equitable access to educational success.
* Redefining success: Addressing equity, inclusion and bias to move education
forward with a special focus on defining success using more inclusive metrics.
We hope you see you there!
