Description:

The Department of Linguistics (https://www.ualberta.ca/linguistics/) at the
University of Alberta invites applications for a Lecturer in Linguistics
(twelve-month teaching contract starting September 2022, with potential for a
one-year extension pending funding approval). The lecturer will teach eight
semester-long courses (3/3/2) including introductory linguistics courses and
other courses subject to individual interests and departmental needs. The
department anticipates this to include 3-4 different courses. Introductory
courses include shared materials and support from teaching assistants.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (preferable) or be ABD (dissertation submitted by
September 1, 2022).

All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply online at the application
