Meeting Description:
The study day ''Two Lines, One Dot. Historical and typological linguistics
between synchrony and diachrony'' is an initiative organized by students for

between two branches of linguistics often perceived as separate, without
opportunities to collaborate and communicate with each other: historical
linguistics on the one hand, typological linguistics on the other. The event
will be held in Bologna (Italy), at the Department of Classical Philology and
Italianistics (FICLIT), via Zamboni 32, Aula Forti, second floor.
