Description:
Ph.D. Positions in Linguistics
The University of Verona and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano have
currently opened 6 positions within their joint Ph.D. programme in
Linguistics. Selected Ph.D. candidates will receive a 3-year fellowship.
The successful applicants are committed to conducting independent and original
scientific research and participating in local, national and international
training activities to develop their potential. Given the multilingual
environment of the programme, we encourage the application of international
students with a good command of English and at least one second language
(Italian or German).
Applications can be uploaded starting 9 May 2022. The deadline for online
applications is 8 June 2022. Only online applications through the university
application system are accepted (please do not send applications via e-mail).
Information about candidacy can be found on the application website below.
The selection procedure involves evaluation of the candidates' Master's
theses, their research project as well as an online interview. For details see
the application website.
One of the fellowships is reserved for a Ph.D. project dedicated to the
realization of a project in the context of the cooperation with the University
of Marburg. For details see
