Meeting Description:

Following the first two editions [2021][2020], the third South Asian Forum on
the Acquisition and Processing of Language (SAFAL) will continue to provide a
platform for the exchange of research on sentence processing, computational
modeling, corpus-based psycholinguistics, neurobiology of language, and child
language acquisition, among others, in the context of the subcontinent's
linguistic landscape. We also plan to incorporate a special sessions to
highlight methods and techniques that can be used in one or more of these
areas.



Call for Papers:

We invite abstracts for 30+15 minute talks, and for poster presentations.
Please specify explicitly if your submission is intended to be a talk or a
poster. Areas of interest to the conference in the context of linguistic
landscape of the region include among others:

- phonetic/phonological/lexical/sentence/discourse processing

- computational modeling

- corpus-based psycholinguistics

- neurobiological investigations of language

- language acquisition in mono-/bi-/multilingual contexts
