Description:

The tasks of the interim professor include 9 hours of teaching per week per
semester (equivalent to a teaching load of 4.5 courses per semester) in
English at BA and MA level, in the programmes BEd/MEd English, BA Linguistics,
and MA Linguistics with a specialization in English Linguistics. We expect the
applicant to have a research and teaching focus in the history of the English
language, with an ability to teach courses in at least two of phonology,
morphology, and syntax. Teaching experience, an excellent doctorate in English
linguistics or a related discipline, habilitation-equivalent achievements and
internationally visible publications are required.

The Department of Linguistics seeks to fill this position from April 1, 2023,
to March 31, 2024. Job Offer Reference No. 2022/236. The position is
full-time, and remuneration is analogous to W3 in a non-tariff employment
relationship
