Meeting Description:

The Congress of the Associacion Internacionala d'Estudis Occitans (AIEO)
brings together scholars of Occitan language, literature and culture from such
diverse fields as linguistics, literature studies, medieval studies,
sociology, didactics, history and more.


2nd Call for Papers:

Extension of submission deadline

The 14th Congress of the Associacion Internacionala d’Estudis Occitans /
Association Internationale d’Etudes Occitanes will take place 11th-15th
September 2023 at LMU Munich under the general theme of “L’occitan a la
rescontra dels estudis romanics” / “L’occitan à la rencontre des études
romanes”.

We welcome contributions for both medieval and modern Occitan.

Please submit your abstract by 16th December 2022. Abstracts should not exceed
3,000 characters (including blank spaces, but excluding the bibliography and
any tables or figures). Further information can be found on the Congress
