Meeting Description:

The 31st Conference of the Student Organization of Linguistics in Europe
(ConSOLE) will be held at Bielefeld University (Germany) from February 22nd to
February 24th 2023. ConSOLE offers an opportunity for young reseachers to
present their work to an international audience. Participants will have the
opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with each other as well as
established researchers. ConSOLE31  focuses on theoretical, empirical and
applied works from many major linguistic fields  (i.e. computational
linguistics, language acquisition, language contact, morphology,
phonetics/phonology, semantics/pragmatics, sociolinguistics, syntax,
typology).

The conference will take place on-site in Bielefeld; registration will be open
for both presenters and non-presenters. Registration will start in Autumn,

Extended Deadline: Call ends at an 14th Oct. 23:59 (AoE)

We invite abstracts from a broad field of linguistic topics(e.g. language
acquisition, morphology, phonetics/phonology, semantics/pragmatics,
sociolinguistics, syntax) and methodologies (e.g. computational, experimental,
fieldwork, theoretical).
Graduate (MA, PhD) and advanced undergraduate (BA) are invited to submit
abstracts for both oral presentations (20 minutes plus additional 10 minutes
for discussion) and poster presentations.
Submissions are limited to two abstracts, with at most one single-authored
paper.

All authors should be students or early stage researchers (PhDs in the first 3
years of their PhD).
Proceedings of the conference will be published later in 2023 by the SOLE
board in Leiden.

Please submit your abstract(s) via EasyChair by 14 October, 2022.
