Description:

Lingo Legend is a mobile game for language learners designed to
maximize your engagement while you practice. To do this, we've
integrated high quality language content into a real video game so
that you will look forward to practicing even when the learning
journey gets tough. Lingo Legend is currently available for free on
the Apple App Store & Google Play Store.

We are looking for a Dutch Language Content Creator to aid in the
development of language flashcards. In this role, you will work with
our team to design language flashcards ideal for beginner language
learners to familiarize themselves with vocabulary and phrases as well
as introductory grammatical concepts.

You will:
 - Evaluate the existing content for languages currently available,
assess the coverage and order of concepts and applicability for Dutch
 - Create new language flashcard content using grammatical concepts,
and themes relevant to Dutch language learners with the intent of
optimizing for learner understanding, retention, and engagement
 - Ensure quality translations for all flashcards both existing and
newly developed
 - Create short descriptions that will aid the learner in
understanding the concept being introduced with each grouping of
flashcards

You have:
 - Native level proficiency in Dutch
 - Master’s degree or PhD in second language acquisition or
specifically in Dutch language studies
 - Previous experience teaching Dutch to beginners
 - Creativity to apply your experience to a unique learning situation
 - Able to work effectively independently

This position has flexible working hours and is entirely remote.
