Description:
The advertised position is intended for a PhD project. If the PhD will
be completed before the end of the contract, there may be an option to
upgrade to 100 %.
Your tasks:
- The successful candidate will write their PhD about a specific
grammatical aspect of a less-described language, from the area of
morphology, syntax, semantics or the lexicon.
- They will teach 1.5 classes per semester.
- They will actively participate in the research and administration
of the institute and co-supervise BA these.
Our requirements:
- A completed scientific university education (M.Sc. / M.A. / Diploma
/ Magister) in the field of linguistics or in an adjacent discipline
and excellent knowledge of linguistics.
- Excellent, active knowledge of a less-described language
- Excellent knowledge of English
Optional:
- Experience with ELAN
- Experience with LaTeX
- Experience with statistics in R
- Teaching experience
- Experience with corpus analysis
The pay scale grouping will be, depending on the personal
qualification of the applicant, up to pay grade 13 TV-L.
