Meeting Description: 

The Incontro di Grammatica Generativa is the annual Italian conference on
generative linguistics, now at its 48th edition. IGG48 will be hosted by
Dipartimento di Lettere e Filosofia (DILEF) of the University of Firenze, on
February 16th-18th 2023 (on site only). As part of this year's Incontro a
Workshop will be held on themes of 'Language variation, language change and
linguistic contact'.

The invited speakers for this year are:

prof. Andrea Calabrese (UConn)
prof. Marcel den Dikken (Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics)
prof. Cecilia Poletto (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Università di Padova)

Free registration is open for both presenters and non-presenters. The program
