English in the Turkic-speaking countries of the former Soviet Union

Dear Colleagues,
We are to announce a call for a special issue in a journal. A
provisional title of the issue is "English in the Turkic-speaking
countries of the former Soviet Union".

Short Description: The focus on English in former Soviet
Turkic-speaking countries will be an original contribution to the
study of English and Englishes worldwide since the number of
publications in this area is very limited. Articles will describe and
analyze the changing role of English in these countries since the fall
of the Soviet Union.
