Meeting Description:
Utrecht University’s Institute for Language Sciences is pleased to announce
the 19th edition of EMLAR, which will be held in hybrid form from April 18-20,
2023. The workshop aims at training PhD students and advanced MA students in
methods of experimental research in first and second language acquisition.
Experts in various domains of language acquisition research will give lectures
and hands-on tutorials. We also provide the opportunity to present your
(ongoing) research at the poster session.
The programme is now available on the website. Speakers will give
method-oriented talks during plenary sessions. This year’s keynote speaker is
Prof. Dr. Wolfram Hinzen. We also offer hands-on tutorials on Praat, R,
Eye-tracking, JASP, Bayesian Statistics and many other research methods.
