Proposals
We invite both established and emerging scholars to submit
theoretically and/or empirically informed chapter proposals that fit
into the agenda of this proposed volume. Proposals of 400-450 words
should be submitted to jalalian at um.edu.my with markshut at hkbu.edu.hk in
Cc. They should include the following elements:
1. Title, abstract (including background/problem statement, purpose of
the study, design/methodology/approach, potential findings and
implications) and up to six keywords (300 words)
2. Author’s affiliation, contact details, and a short bio (100-150
words)
Schedule
Abstract for proposed chapter 30 April 2023
Notification of acceptance 31 May 2023
Submission of first draft of the chapters 30 November 2023
Review and feedback sent to the authors 28 February 2024
Submission of the final draft (7000 words) 31March 2024
Submission of the book manuscript to the publisher 31 May 2024
The edited book is expected to be published in July/August 2024
