Description:

The research group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona on The
Interpretation of Functional Categories II: Expressive Meaning and Meaning
Hierarchies (PID2020-112801GB-I00) invites applications for a three-year
postdoctoral fellowship of the “Beatriu de Pinós” program, funded by the
Catalan Government. This is an extremely competitive program, so only
candidates with an outstanding research profile will be considered.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to present a detailed project for the
three-year period which integrates into the above-mentioned funded project
grant on semantics awarded to the Centre de Lingüística Teòrica, where (s)he
will be hosted (http://filcat.uab.cat/clt/).

Applicants must hold a PhD in linguistics between January 1, 2015 and December
31, 2020 (dates to be confirmed when the final call is approved), and must
prove a minimum of two years of a postdoctoral research stay in a university
or research center outside Spain.

 - a cover letter with a brief expression of interest specifying the project
to be developed in the next three years, and
 - a curriculum vitae.

Preselected candidates will be requested to provide a detailed work-plan for
the three-year period and to fill up the application form available online
(probably during January 2023).
