digital language and communication research in 2023. Featuring
cutting-edge researchers from Europe, US, Asia and Australia.
All lectures are delivered on Zoom and are free of charge, but
registration is required. For information on all upcoming lectures,
abstracts, and registration visit the DiLCo website:
https://www.dilco.uni-hamburg.de/activities/lecture-series-2023.html
The first lecture on 26 January will be presented by Wyke Stommel
(Radboud University) on 'Shared care' through instant messaging
updates in youth care: a digital conversation analysis'.
Please note that having installed the Zoom client on your computer is
a prerequisite to attend, as the University of Hamburg does not permit
Zoom connectivity via browser.
DiLCo (‘Digital language variation in context’) is a 3-year
international research network initiated in 2021 by Jannis
Androutsopoulos and Heike Zinsmeister at Universität Hamburg. The
network brings together researchers with expertise in computational
and interactional approaches to digital language and communication
research. It aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary synergy
and early-career capacity building.
